A proud veteran, Mitchell Asmar, Sr. served his country honorably in the US Army before returning home to Laurel in 1947 with a dream of building a business and making a difference in his community. With an entrepreneurial spirit, an unwavering work ethic and a heart for service, Mitchell established Asmar Property Rentals with a mission to provide affordable housing for Laurel residents and foster strong, lasting relationships with community leaders, employees, tenants and neighbors alike. Mitchell’s unwavering commitment to Laurel extended beyond business.
